Glenwood, Washington
Although the season of autumn is sure to display an array of golden hues in the leaves on deciduous trees, the grasses on prairies around the country make their own golden glory. This field is in the small rural community of Glenwood,Washington.

Signs of Spring
Blossom of Blue
The photo of this lovely little flower was taken in south-central Washington State. With the season of spring now upon us, colorful flowers are bursting on the scene in every corner of our country.
Since blue is my favorite color, I thought this tiny blossom was especially pretty.
Have a wonderful week!

Amber Waves of Grain
Rural Washington
Last weekend we visited some friends in Glenwood, Washington. We were hoping to see some snow, but no luck. However, in this remote corner of our state there is never a shortage of beautiful scenes to enjoy. I thought this one was appropriate for Thanksgiving weekend.
I hope you and your family had a wonderful holiday weekend!

Bird Creek ~ Washington State
Bird Creek |
We have been visiting some special Pacific Northwest locations since my husband is preparing for a solo art show: Glenwood, Washington is one of our favorite spots. We learned that the idyllic Bird Creek is a favorite fishing hole for the local children...and they actually catch fish!
This photo was taken about a month ago; we will be heading back to Glenwood next week. Since the community is located at the base of Mt. Adams, I'm hoping they will have received their first snow of the season. If so, I'll be sure and snap some photos of snow to share with you!
